02 Nov - Ever since the Noosa Triathlon first captured her imagination at aged 15, Emma dreamed of winning this event. Her long-standing dream became reality yesterday when the 22y ear old achieved the biggest winning margin in the history of the event with a sizzling 1hr 56:49min victory. First out of the swim she led on the non-drafting bike the entire 40ks. Blistered and bloodied feet couldn’t stop Snowsill, who despite registering the fastest run (34.28) was not content to believe victory was hers until the final kilometre. "This is my favourite race in the world" she said. |
